About the Project

Berkley One is a new insurance provider that needed a brand film for their new website. Thanks to some great agencies in Chicago, we were approached again by one looking to contract a production company to produce a brand film for this new service.

My Role

On this particular production, I Produced and Directed this spot. Between scouting possible locations, tracking down glass pane manufactures and assembling a crew to handle this type of production, our team did a fantastic job in bringing this film to fruition.

Key Challenge

For this particular brand film, our key challenge was capturing the essence of each character as if each actor was drawing their dreams and aspirations in mid-air. For our crew, it wasn’t enough just to clean the glass as if you were cleaning a window. We had to make sure that each close-up (and even wide) shots were clear of any smudges or marks from the markers that we were using.

In addition to that, reflections were a key challenge to look out for. Our production team did an amazing job in making sure that none of the crew was visible within the glass during the shoot.
