About the Project

There truly is something magical about MightyVine’s process. We connected with this fantastic company after discovering that they were one of the top 10 Chicago companies to watch for in 2016. MightyVine wanted to tell their story through a Branded Film that portrayed the beauty and sophistication of their hydroponic techniques.

My Role

Sitting in the outskirts of Rochelle, Illinois, this successful greenhouse would be our set for the day. This production was unique in that I Produced, Directed and DP’ed. But as with any production, there was an amazing team helping to make this all happen. We also had a one day shoot in a fantastic kitchen with a chef for our product shots.

Key Challenge

Our biggest challenge here wasn’t capturing the process of how the tomatoes grew, but surprisingly was trying to capture just a few short clips of the bees pollinating the flowers. Seems like an easy shot to get but not quite when they only hover on these flowers for a short period of time.
