About the Project
How does brand strategy, or even just strategy, play into your marketing campaigns for your business? Many times I’ll encounter a brand who desires new marketing content for their brand but they haven’t brought into account the impact a well thought-out strategy has on their campaigns.
While I can’t share the name of the brand, I can show you what I put together for them as an example of how a strategy must carry over into other aspects of their marketing. Their logo and tag-lines are just examples and not official.
My Role
I’ve been following this brand for quite some time and have kicked multiple ideas around in my head of how I could enhance their story and present a new face to their core audience. What started as a video campaign idea, transitioned into a full marketing campaign that would include new uniforms, tag-lines and vehicle wraps.
What large brands come to mind that use color to their advantage? What about Best Buy with their bags? What about Chick-Fil-A and their use of the color red? Or, DHL and UPS with their color palettes? All of these brands use color to attract and remind you of who they are in everyday life.
Key Challenge
My biggest challenge was crafting not only a brand that uses color to its advantage (they are not at the moment) but also tells a compelling story within their Video and Radio marketing ads. On top of that, this brand is use to utilizing old and outdated marketing outlets and strategies for their own marketing. While things are still in discussion phase in terms of how to move forward, I’m confident that this marketing strategy example is a fantastic springboard for their future marketing.
So, how are you implementing color, brand voice and advertising outlets into your video campaigns? What about your photography or even brand design? Have you considered hiring a brand strategist for your future marketing? If you have, feel free to reach out to me through the link below or send me a message here.
